The first NHL Sense Arena playoff game will be played in accordance with the real NHL Playoff Schedule for the 2023-2024 season. If a user's team does not qualify for the real NHL Playoffs, we will substitute one of the Wild Card teams in NHL Sense Arena with the user's team in their respective conference.

NHL Sense Arena Playoff rules mirror the real NHL Playoffs in that a team needs to win 4 games in a best-of-seven series to advance to the next round. If a user wins their first round in NHL Sense Arena, they will need to wait until the real NHL Playoffs' first-round games have been completed before any NHL Sense Arena second-round playoff games can begin.

Users will compete in games to meet specific thresholds such as goals scored, passes completed, or save percentage. Success will lead to a win, while failure will result in a loss. When a user loses a round, whether the first or the final round, the user must start again from the first round.
