DanglePro Full-Ice Scanning - New Drills for Smarter Stickhandling

NEW DanglePro Full-Ice Scanning Drills

New DanglePro stickhandling drills

Control the chaos. See everything.

The game doesn’t just happen in front of you, it comes at you from every angle. That’s why we’ve introduced Full-Ice Scanning to DanglePro inside NHL Sense Arena 26. This isn’t a rebrand, it’s an evolution. A faster, more dynamic version of DanglePro designed to challenge how you see the ice, process information, and execute under pressure.

DanglePro is our mixed reality stickhandling training tool, built to sharpen your hands while engaging your mind. Now, with Full-Ice Scanning, your awareness has to expand beyond the puck at your feet. If you want to be a complete player, your brain, hands, and feet have to work together.

What’s New: Full-Ice Scanning

DanglePro with full-ice scanning forces you to read, react, and move under pressure.

This update introduces new drills focused on:

  • Awareness – Visual cues and decision triggers now activate across a wider ice surface, not just directly in front of you.
  • Speed & Movement – Drills emphasize quick hands while demanding constant head movement and spatial recognition.
  • Pressure-Based Progressions – Increased tempo, layered decision-making, and reactive obstacles that simulate real in-game chaos.

It’s not just about stickhandling cleanly, it’s about maintaining control when everything around you is moving.

New Full-Ice Scanning Drills

These new DanglePro drills are designed to overload your awareness, increase tempo, and force you to control the puck when the environment refuses to slow down.

1. Under Siege

You’re planted in the middle of the arena. Opposing players circle you. One by one, they attack.

Skaters take turns rushing directly at you, trying to strip the puck off your blade. There’s no safe side. No predictable angle. You have to constantly scan the ice, identify the next threat, and adjust your hands and body positioning before contact happens.

2. Multitask Colors

In Multitask Colors, you’re stickhandling while colored pucks appear around you. A cue tells you which color to collect, and it can change instantly. You can’t stare at the puck on your blade. You have to keep your head up, recognize the correct target, and react in real time.

3. Multitask Colors Dynamic

The intensity increases with a moving color wheel. Instead of static cues, the visual information is constantly shifting, forcing players to scan, identify, and react even faster. You must process the cue, locate the correct puck, and execute, all while maintaining clean puck control.

4. Multitask Numbers

Now your brain has to calculate before your hands can react. In Multitask Numbers, players solve a math equation presented in the drill and collect the puck displaying the correct answer, while continuing to handle the puck and avoid incorrect options.

5. Multitask Numbers Dynamic

The challenge escalates with a moving math equation. As the equation shifts across your field of view, you must track it, solve it, and identify the correct puck, all in real time. The added motion demands sharper scanning habits and quicker decisions.

6. Bear Blitz

Yes, there’s a giant polar bear across the ice. And yes, it’s launching obstacles at you. Your mission? Collect gold pucks while dodging incoming chaos.

Bear Blitz gamifies scanning and awareness by forcing you to manage multiple moving threats while maintaining clean, controlled stickhandling. It’s unpredictable, high-energy, and relentless, just like a real shift when bodies and sticks are flying everywhere.

Why It Matters

Modern hockey is faster than ever. Space disappears instantly. Time shrinks. The best players separate themselves through scanning, anticipation, and composure.

Full-Ice Scanning trains:

  • Visual and spatial awareness
  • Reaction speed
  • Decision-making under pressure
  • Puck control at high tempo
  • Control in chaotic environments
